Parents Centres Aotearoa has been helping new parents for over 70 years and is the leading provider of childbirth and parent education in the country. Bays North Harbour Parents Centre is one of 60+ Parents Centres across the country.
We are passionate about providing quality childbirth education (antenatal) classes, parent education courses and helping families connect with other whānau. It is important to us that parents feel supported and connected and this is why many whānau have chosen Parents Centre and have made long lasting friendships along the way.
Our Baby & You Antenatal and Postnatal package ensures that you are supported as you prepare for the birth of your child and importantly, we continue that support once your pēpē is here. Our postnatal and parenting classes provide practical information to help you care for your baby and can be a great way to strengthen blossoming friendships.
Location
Our members and volunteers who support the Centre live in and around the Bays (Castor Bay to Long Bay), Sunnynook, Unsworth Heights, Greenhithe and Albany on Auckland’s North Shore.
Our Antenatal classes are held in Apollo Drive, Albany and our Postnatal and Parenting courses take place at Sunnynook Community Centre.
If you do not live in the areas that Bays North Harbour cover, you may prefer to go to a nearby Centre so you can get to know parents in your local area.

Volunteering
